I made it back from Norway safe and sound. It was a very successful business trip. One of the striking things about Norway is the price of everything. The weak dollar doesn’t help matters. To give you some perspective, a regular fast food meal that would cost $6 in the US will run you $18 in Norway. A glass of beer, $12. I had heard Norway was one of the wealthiest nations in the world and now I can confirm this is the case.
Fortunately I do know when I will be back again, next Wednesday. I have to make a business trip to Norway and I am leaving tomorrow (Saturday). It will be my first visit to Scandinavia and I look forward to it, even though most of the trip will be business related. The average temperatures will be between 30F and 40F. I think even a Florida guy like myself will be able to withstand that kind of weather.

The Thoroughbred Folio will not give up the fight. After weeks of beatings, we have almost pulled back even. We also received a couple of nice surprises last week. Keep on reading to find out which of our Folio members threw us some dough.
The other day I read a post over at Living Off Dividends about Prosper.com. I had heard of Prosper before and I had even looked them over. After reading LOD’s rules for not lending, I decided to dig a little deeper. Can you prosper on Prosper.com?
